The following is a note from the editor, which revealed additional information about the competitiveness of the award.

We are pleased to inform you that Operation ASHA is the winner of the Health-Care IT category in this year’s Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Awards.

You should be very proud of this achievement. We received 536 entries, with only 7% receiving an award. Needless to say, the competition was extremely intense. Coverage of the awards appears online at www.WSJ.com/Reports as well as in The Wall Street Journal’s print editions on Tuesday. Attached please find a full list of winners and runners-up.
